We love Tyntynder Lodge because we can lie in the sun, snooze in the shade, walk to the river and dangle our feet, see our neighbours in safety and get doggy treats for being good.

Excellent accommodation for dogs and humans – great surroundings, good walking, dog friendly staff and good rates. Our honeymoon was much better because all our family could be together.

The accommodation was great. Fantastic back garden for the dog and lots of other great facilities. So close to everything and with many wonderful walks for humans and their dogs. We took our dog for so many walks she needed to have lots of sleeps and went to bed early every night. Our vet said she needed to lose weight and that aim was definitely achieved when we had our great holiday here.

Tyntynder Lodge is very pet friendly with few restrictions – and those that are there are sensible. This is our third visit and we hope to return soon. The fenced garden is great and the staff are very helpful.
