A lovely environment – a beautiful setting with lots of stimulating walks. The wood fire was a big hit. We shall definitely be coming back and telling all of our friends of this lovely property

Tarryn T ., Alexandria NSW – September 2007

At last we have experienced ‘Gold Standard’ luxury accommodation, scenic surrounds and wonderful access to riverfront walking tracks….and they welcome our dog with as much enthusiasm as ourselves!

Josephine M., North Rocks, NSW – September, 2007

The accommodation was terrific and we felt very welcome staying here. The walks were fantastic and the back yard was perfect.

Andrea W., Tallygaroopna – September, 2007

A short message to let you know we thoroughly enjoyed our little stay at Tyntynder. It was quiet, comfortable, spotlessly clean and I would I highly recommend it to anyone.

Annette K., Melbourne – August, 2007

BrightThanks so much for a lovely stay. Hounds and I had a great time and don’t want to go back to stinky home. Will be back for sure and telling all our 4 and 2 legged friends about it.

We love taking our dog, Amy, with us on holidays. Tyntynder Lodge provided us with a fantastic setting for a relaxing break. The cottage and yard were wonderful – great facilities, picturesque garden, warm, comfortable and difficult to leave. We will definitely be back.

As I wrote when I stayed in December 2006 – this establishment is simply beautiful. It is 1st class accommodation that has everything. Tyntynder is simply the best.

Allan & Wendy B., Wonthaggi – June 2007

Everything is spotless & clean. There are good walks and plenty of day trips. It is like a home away from home.

Tyntynder Lodge is the cleanest, most welcoming accommodation I’ve stayed in for a long while. Lots of fun in the river and in the beautiful garden. A perfect spot. We will be back and I shall recommend it to all.

Glenda F., Airport West – April, 2007

It’s clean & tidy with lots of space for us to enjoy our holiday break together. The best recharge we have had for a long time and lots of fun memories to take back to Melbourne. Thanks so much.

Pauline & Andrew H., Sandringham – April 2007

Thank you for a great Easter break in beautiful spot. We all loved the Rail Trail, BMX park, river, bakery, market, etc. The weather was unbelievable. Dogs were in 7th heaven and had a run with me into town for breakfast each morning. Happy to provide a testimonial anytime – my father in law (an 82 year old cyclist) has already booked with you.

Stacey I., Port Melbourne – April, 2007

We want to thank you for a most relaxing & enjoyable time. The accommodation at Tyntynder was 1st class – all the essentials provided plus a lovely large back garden. We will most certainly be recommending this place to our friends.

Daniel & Tareanna D., Wantirna – April, 2007

Perfectly positioned along a river with so many trails to explore. We all loved it totally and are going home exhausted but happy.

Jennifer E., Garfield – April, 2007

Tyntynder provided a lovely secure garden area and the apartment was really clean and comfortable. A really great holiday facility.

Carol & Lyle D., Ringwood – April, 2007

It’s all that it advertises to be. It’s extremely clean and well maintained. Very private & peaceful. Thank you.

Ruth R. & Annette D., McCrae – April, 2007

Heaven! River swimming, safe garden and glorious off lead walks into town through the bush trails. Friendly staff too.

Patrick I, Port Melbourne – April, 2007

The cottage was beautifully presented and exceptionally clean – everything provided for. The position is fantastic and we look forward to returning.

Ashley & Karen B., Surrey Hills – March, 2007

BrightWe just want to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at Tyntynder. It was just perfect. Everything we needed was supplied and everything was beautifully clean. We loved the big garden and we all loved sitting on the deck of an evening – or anytime for that matter. We all thought the location and setting was gorgeous.

I think we sampled just about everything Bright had to offer – we loved the Brewery with its local-produce tasting platters, we were regulars at many wineries – Brown Bros, John Gehrig, Boyntons & Michelinis too. Beechworth was interesting to see, particularly the hour or so we spent in the court house; the drive to Mt Hotham was awesome and then across to Dinner Plain and back through Falls Creek was a world away from Melbourne.

Back to work tomorrow but I am sure we shall return. We’ve already started spreading the word about your lovely property.

Elsa P., Kew – March, 2007

Close enough to town and in a nice quiet location. First rate facilities and spotlessly clean. Plenty of information and brochures together with pleasant and very helpful staff.

Russ & Phyllis G., South Blackburn – March, 2007

All mod conveniences. Excellent accommodation, spotlessly clean. Set in peaceful surroundings – the bird life was an extra bonus.

Joy & Jenny G., Glen Waverley – March, 2007

All the creature comforts including magpies to enjoy. Most relaxing and lots of good walks nearby

Allan w., Mansfield – March 2007

Because of its first class appointments for a comfortable & relaxing holiday we’ll be recommending Tyntynder Lodge as an ideal place to stay.

Tony & Louise B., Tenterfield – March 2007

We found the accommodation very clean on arrival. Facilities have been updated and are very comfortable. The Lodge is easy to maintain giving us more time to enjoy our stay. The area outside is safe and secure. Jasper certainly settled in which is fantastic considering it is his first holiday away from home. The river is nice and close to cool off.

Alistair & Gaye P., Humevale – January 2007

The cottage accommodation is excellent as are the private garden, views from the verandah and walks along the river nearby.

Dianne H., East Brunswick – January, 2007

A lot of care has gone into this Lodge

Jenni G., Northcote – December, 2006

Tyntynder Lodge was just like home – very cosy and everything was here. Very, very lovely place to stay. Very clean and easy to manage. Lovely cleaner and owners.

Hayley C., Castlemaine – November, 2006

Excellent 2 bedroom spacious units with wonderful fully fenced garden. Enjoyed the back verandah for relaxing on after enjoyable bush walks and paddling in the nearby river. Tyntynder is very friendly and kept spotlessly clean. A credit to the owners and the cleaners. I will be back again.

Kaye S., Bendigo – November 2006

The facilities are excellent and the location is superb – I will be back.

Nicole R., Beaumaris – November, 2006

The entire family can have a relaxing time enjoying the beautiful Bright countryside.

Karen S., Doncaster – November, 2006

My husband, self and occasionally family have stayed in many dog friendly places. Most of them have been excellent but Tyntynder Cottages are “Simply the Best”. They are clean, comfortable, beautifully appointed with all conveniences and within close proximity to shopping and all attractions. These cottages are a perfect paradise.

Allan & Wendy B., Wonthaggi – November 2006, Returned April, 2007

The units are great. The garden is secure and we all loved it. It is extremely clean and well appointed with lots of thoughtful things for humans.

David & Jenny O., Bacchus Marsh – September, 2006

Accommodation was lovely – comfortable & clean. Every need was catered for. Nice fenced yard and verandah; interesting walks just outside the gate.

John & Sally H., Daisy Hill – September, 2006

On arrival our 15 month old Bull terrier, Isaac, was greeted with a big pat and a smile. Tyntynder has dog proof fencing and a good sized yard. Scenic walking tracks along the river are great off lead dog walks. Even water/food dishes were supplied. We will all be coming back soon.
