Great environment – well appointed accommodation. Great walks, love the river and the fire.
Raby H., Agnes – June 2006
I thought the accommodation was brilliant. Having the river with a walking track was ideal. The accommodation was very good – it had everything we needed.
Allison M., Ivanhoe – June 2006
Everything is “No Fuss”. No big lectures, no big lists – everybody is just pleased to see you. Your own self contained garden next to beautiful walks and gardens make it a really 5 star retreat. Many thanks.
Peter & Michelle M., Kongwak – June 2006
A place that lived up to its advertising blurb
John & Sonya B., Orbost – May 2006
We never thought that high standard accommodation and dog friendliness could go together, but have found that it can, and does, here at Tyntynder. For comfort, and most important, cleanliness, it is unsurpassed. Catherine and her team are to be congratulated. A big thank you.
John & Julie F., Chirnside Park, - May 2006
A perfect place – safe, secure and plenty of walks.
Marg H. Victor Harbour – May 2006

Peggy T.’ Traralgon – May 2006
Since our last stay here (12 months ago) we have stayed at a number of dog friendly accommodations and have found none to rival the standard of this Lodge. Hence we look forward to returning again.

We would have no hesitation in recommending Tyntynder Lodge to family and friends who wish to have a most enjoyable and well catered for break.
Priscilla & Don W., Newtown – April, 2006
This is absolutely first class accommodation with secure grounds for our dog, a border collie, providing adequate exercise room. For our dog to be allowed inside among the high quality furnishings is quite amazing. The proximity of Tyntynder to so many walking tracks is an absolute bonus. Very well done.
Ken & Pauline I., Glenelg North,SA – April 2006
We found all this perfect to come to with our little dog as well as ourselves. Perfect location – well executed – no complaints. First class all the way.
Tess F., Cheltenham – April, 2006
We were made feel very welcome the accommodation is comfortable with a large secure garden. Plenty of helpful activity suggestions. Overall it was a very pleasant stay for the whole family.

The cottage was in a secluded area close to lovely walks and a dip in the river. Humans are well catered for – d.v.d. player, microwave, lovely beds, beautiful view.
Gaye T, Strathmore – April, 2006
Tyntynder lodge is perfect for dogs and perfect for us. It has well appointed cottages in a beautiful setting with excellent facilities. Definitely a “come back soon” destination

The beautiful tranquility of Tyntynder Lodge made this trip an absolute pleasure, so much so that we will come again and pass on their details.
Melissa C, Richmond – April, 2006
Canine & human friendly; secure gardens and home; warm and very comfortable for all; beautiful walks and swimming holes for all. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Tyntynder. This is my second visit.
Tracey B, Eaglehawk – April, 2006
You could not find a more peaceful, well set up cottage anywhere in Victoria. I have stayed in several dog friendly places and Tyntynder is top notch. Not only have the adults had a great time but my dog has enjoyed his own yard and walks along the river.
Linda R, Croydon Hills – March, 2006
A perfect place to relax after the hustle and bustle of city living. Together with the excellent accommodation, safe and secure fencing and the peace and quiet of Bright and its surrounds myself and Max, my best mate, will certainly be back
Debbie D, Pascoe Vale – March, 2006
Tyntynder Lodge is a lovely place to stay and relax. The accommodation is beautiful, the gardens and adjacent bush create a peaceful setting. We loved it and we will be back.
Julie & Peter B, Melbourne – March 2006
“Tyntynder Lodge has such a welcoming feel to it with carefully thought out décor in a relaxed fashion – so comfortable. It is a dream of a place in every season – wonderful log fires in the winter, B.B.Q’s in summer. All the while my dog is enjoying the truly spacious gardens in absolute safety completely surrounded by trees both on and beyond the property. The tranquillity alone makes this a special place”
Jan P – Kew, February, 2006 (2nd visit)
“As a couple who like to travel with our dog, it is extremely difficult to find good quality, dog friendly accommodation. Tyntynder Lodge is exceptional. One of the best we have stayed in. We will be recommending it to all our friends.”
